Berry is one of the South Coast’s most charming towns and Willow Farm sits in the landscape around it beautifully. The property’s open paddocks, aged timber, natural plantings and surrounding countryside give me variety throughout the day, wide establishing shots, intimate portrait locations, and rich textured backdrops for the details that matter.
My documentary approach suits farm venues like Willow Farm naturally. There is no staging required, the setting does the work, and I simply document what is happening within it.
The Berry Light
The South Coast light around Berry is consistently beautiful, soft and warm without being harsh. In the late afternoon, the golden hour light across Willow Farm’s paddocks creates portrait conditions that are difficult to engineer anywhere else. I always look forward to that time of day at South Coast venues.
Getting Married at Willow Farm
Willow Farm weddings tend to have a relaxed, community feel. Guests are at ease, couples are comfortable and the day flows naturally, which is exactly the kind of environment where my photography works best.
I spend the day moving through the various spaces on the property, staying close to the action without interrupting it. From the ceremony through to the reception, I am quietly present, capturing the moments that make your day yours.
