Perched above the bay with uninterrupted water views and that iconic white sand below, it is a venue that combines natural beauty with a relaxed coastal atmosphere. It is the kind of place where the setting does a lot of the work, and where the people matter even more.

The light at Jervis Bay is extraordinary. The water reflects it in ways that create a luminous, almost ethereal quality in photographs, particularly in the late afternoon. As someone who works with natural light almost exclusively, The Cove is a genuinely exciting venue to photograph.
The ceremony area, looking out over the bay, creates one of the most naturally beautiful backdrops you will find anywhere on the South Coast. And the surrounding bush and beach give you portrait options that most venues simply cannot offer.
My Style at The Cove
I photograph weddings the way they actually happen. At The Cove, that means I am with you from the getting-ready moments, through the ceremony, into portraits on the beach or headland, and through to the reception. I move quietly through the day, staying close enough to capture the real moments without interrupting them.
The coastal setting at Jervis Bay suits a more relaxed, free-flowing approach to portraiture, bare feet in the sand, light breeze, no formal posing required. We walk, we talk, I take photographs. The results reflect how you actually felt that day, not how you thought you were supposed to look.
