What Yvette thought was going to just be a couples session at a Winery, turned into such a huge surprise for her. Lester came to me with this awesome proposal idea and I was so excited when it all went to plan. He showed me a video of someone throwing petals and spinning for a killer photo opportunity. Now Lesters plan was to have Yvette to do that same thing and once she spun around he would be down on one knee with petals falling over them. We did a few practice shots to trick Yvette into being able to nail the toss for the perfect shot and she totally did. Scroll down to see the series and her pure shocked reaction. It was gold!

Charlotte & Will // The Woods Farm

Charlotte & Will didn’t let a bit or torrential rain get in the way of them having the best wedding day ever!
Their wedding truly had it all. Rain, sparklers, animals, a kick-butt florist who is all about saving the environment and no wastage, a surprise gelato van to the groom from the bride (wait till you see his reaction), a killer cake made by the mother of the bride herself, a bride’s reception dress change and then they topped off the night with espresso martini’s. Kaitlin & Simone // The Grange

Kaitlin and Simone had a perfect day saying their I-Do's on their family farm with all their closest family and friends. Followed by a beautiful reception at The Grange in tribute to Kaitlins late father who was a member of the club. What a beautiful way to include him in their special day along with a beautiful momento on her bouquet.⁠ Take a look at all their magic below.

While I was over in Queenstown capturing a gorgeous wedding, I was also able to meet up with these two legends on one of my spare days!
I’ve known Emma and Stephen for a few years now. Having the privilege of capturing their engagement party in Wollongong, stunning wedding in the Hunter Valley and now being able to capture their love in this heart throb of a town, Queenstown, New Zealand.
These two moved over here as Emma got offered a killer job with Go Orange, you should definitely check them out if you’re a first timer to the South Island and want some amazing adventures.
We truly had the best time with Em & Step showing us around their new hometown. Thanks for having me and the hubs and showing us how the locals do it. We will definitely be back again soon!

Mel & Ben had family at the forefront when they planned their wedding. Their family and friends were the focus and you can really see how much they love them. It’s was such a beautiful wedding to be able to capture. There were so many meaningful moments I was lucky enough to be able to document. Jamie & Kane - Surprise Wedding // Sandon Point

Jamie & Kane decided to surprise all their guests with getting married at their engagement party.
They threw shakkas after the said I-Do, spoke beautiful and emotional words about each other during their vows and also I learnt that they were pretty fun and adventurous people. Taking their Land Cruiser away most weekends to find a experience a new adventure together. Their family and friends laughed and cried and they embraced them with the most meaningful hugs after the ceremony. You could really feel the love that their family and friends had for these two awesome people.
